GoClipp is designed to help professionals privately record and recall client information, including notes, photos and videos. We believe this information should remain under the control of the GoClipp user.
Information Stored in GoClipp
Depending on how you use GoClipp, the app may contain client names and contact information you choose to enter; appointment and service records; notes and client preferences; photos; videos and audio contained within recorded videos; and other information you choose to add to a client record.
Where Your Information Is Stored
GoClipp stores information on your device. When iCloud is available, GoClipp uses Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services to privately back up supported GoClipp records, including client information, notes, photos and videos.
Information stored through GoClipp’s private CloudKit database is associated with your iCloud account and uses your available iCloud storage.
GoClipp does not operate a separate cloud server for storing your client records, photos or videos.
iCloud Backup
When iCloud is available, GoClipp automatically backs up supported records to your private iCloud account. No separate GoClipp cloud account is required.
This helps protect supported records if you replace or lose your device. Restoring an iCloud backup requires the appropriate Apple/iCloud account.
If iCloud is unavailable, you are signed out of iCloud, or your iCloud storage is full, GoClipp may continue storing information locally on your device, but new or changed information may not be backed up until iCloud becomes available again.
Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
Your Photos, Videos and Client Records
GoClipp does not sell your client records, photos, videos or notes.
GoClipp does not use the contents of your client records, photos or videos for advertising.
GoClipp does not use your client photos or videos to train artificial intelligence models.
Your GoClipp records are used to provide the features of the app, including recording, storage, retrieval, backup and restoration.
iCloud Storage
GoClipp limits each video recording to 60 seconds and compresses videos on your device to help keep storage use manageable. Because photos and videos still use more space than text-based records, GoClipp data stored in your private iCloud account may count toward your personal iCloud storage allowance.
If your available iCloud storage becomes full, some GoClipp information may be unable to back up until additional storage becomes available.
GoClipp does not automatically purchase or upgrade an iCloud storage plan on your behalf.
Deleting Information
You can delete client records and associated information through GoClipp.
Deleting information in GoClipp may also remove the corresponding information from your iCloud backup.
GoClipp will provide appropriate confirmation before actions that permanently delete supported records or media.
Your Responsibility for Client Information
GoClipp is a tool for professionals to maintain their own client records. You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of client information, photographs, videos and recordings complies with the laws, professional requirements and consent obligations applicable to you and your business.
Third-Party Services
GoClipp relies on services provided by Apple, including iCloud and CloudKit, to provide iCloud backup functionality. Your use of these Apple services is governed by Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
GoClipp is intended as a professional record-keeping tool and is not designed for use by children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as GoClipp develops or as its features and privacy practices change. When we make material changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy.
